The postdate always seems to be an hour out - always been like that and no idea why!

They look absolutely spot on to me, which suggests the server is running Central European Time although the server seems be located in Great Britain. It will be interesting to see what happens next weekend.

It doesn't seem to be an hour wrong on my posts...?

Across the bottom of the page, just qbove the footer, is a line that, on my PC, reads "All times are GMT +2. The time now is 03:50 PM." That is either taken from the server or a piece of Javascript is reading my computer's time zone. I can't tell which from the page source.
If the time on that line is correct, then every time on the site should be correct also.

If you go to 'User CP' (along the top of the page) and then 'Edit Options' you'll see near the bottom a panel for setting the time - mines on 'GMT' and 'auto detect DST settings' and 'Sunday'.
