So, who's the most popular person on this forum, and why?

Also, name the funniest and the one you admire most.

There are no prizes but the winners will be allowed to look smug and self satisfied for a week.

We don't really do popularity contests; it's a bit subjective isn't it?

It was more of a fun way to get to know you all than a popularity contest as such.

Along the lines of ''so and so is excellent at growing potatoes'' etc.

I think I understand what you're asking pidge, but I've gained so many fantastic friends since I joined that it would be impossible to name them all (and I might offend someone that I missed by accident). We all have our areas of expertise, but I'm not sure there is a fast track way to getting to know us all.

I recently introduced my friend DarkCrow to the Vine, and he's always asking me 'who would know about this?', and I'm happy to guide him in the right direction, and he'll often come back to me and say 'Isn't so-and-so lovely!', and I just say 'Of course they are, they're a Grape!'

Best way to get to know folks Pidge is to keep reading and joining in. You'll soon be familiar with lots of grapes!

To blow everyone else's trumpet so to speak - everyone on here is fantastic, everyone has their own unique contribution which helps answer a specific /general question. Its the most friendly and helpful forum Ive been a member of - so much so, Im not a member of anything else. A BIG thank you to all the Grapes!

I concur with everything Ollie said.

                        Apart from the pumpkin thing.

I wasn't very popular there either.

This thread has made me chuckle though - I was expecting something else.

Our nearest garden centre is called 'Poplars' - you know, as in the tree. However a friend of ours insusts on calling it 'Populars'. Everytime said friend says it LadyWayne and I exchange a glance and a smile.
