    Pompiers alert gals!!!!!!

    Just had the annual visit from our pompiers selling their calendar ...phwarr...

    They're all about a size 6 man so it looks like I'll be needing a whole team of them to carry me out of the upstairs window!!! YEY!!!

    ( For those not 'in the know'...the firemen come round each year selling their calendars- you never dare say no cos they're stationed 25 mins away from our wood and stone house...and there are quite a few burnt out properties nearby!!..have to say though that there are 5 pretty gals ..size 6 too...on the team- so keep a look out Bob and Scared !!!)

    Lots of the pompiers in rural France are in fact volonteers Nicos which is why their annual fundraising calendar is essential. They also provide the ambulance service and I must admit despite the broken ankle I was thinking phwarrr when they rescued me

      We had a visit from one of 'em last Wednesday with their calendars, thought it was a bit early, but they obviously decided to do their 'rounds' on 'un jour ferie' and find people at home! I just wish ours hadn't called mid-morning just after I had finished mucking out and hadn't even got round to sorting myself out!

      So it's just the calendar from the post lady now, at least we can pick out a nice one from her!

          My OH told them that in the UK the firemen sell calendars of naked firemen hiding their bits!!!


          ...ooo..I Soooo hope they take up that idea!!!!
