But Linda, do you not think you might regret it when you see all the lovely pics of toms and peppers, strawberries and raspberries.
Its not too late to change your mind

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

nope ... i've grown stuff for 2 years ... and haven't grown enough of anything to fill a shelf in the fridge lol ... spent fortunes on seeds and other stuff, that i'd have been much better going and spending on food ... i still have some fruit bushes ... which i may as well leave in.

last year had about 12 raspberries a couple of strawbs, and a handful of cape gooseberries ..my tomatoes all got blight, and i managed 2 tiny green peppers .. i got more fruit off the wild blackberry bush in the hedge, cos i spent so much time gardening i didn't get chance to trim it.

i really just haven't the energy for all that digging ... still haven't got all the spuds out from last summer lol
