    Photograph help needed

    I have tried over and over again to post photos and have failed miserably - I have tried to use one of those sites where you can save your photos and that didnt work either....
    BUT
    I hope to have photos of my piece of land being cleared ... he starts this pm - and i'll have before, during and after photos which I would love to share - cant I e mail them to someone who could post them for me?

    Which bit are you having trouble with? Downloading your photos to your computer?
    Resizing? (they need to be small files) This is a good, quick (2 minutes), free site that I use: http://www.resizr.com/
    You can then put them on this site, in your album.

      Agree with what TS said, only minor point to add is that when you upload photos they are automatically resized. So if you're feeling lazy, you don't have to bother with that step Obviously it may take slightly longer to upload as the photos are resized on the GYO computer rather than yours, but then if you use an online service to resize then that still applies. For the most control & quickest upload it's best to resize them on your computer using PhotoShop or something similar, but that's only if you're a real control freak

      What format are your photos?

        I agree with the size issue. I tried to upload a photo on a form, after several frustrating goes I realised it was because the photo was too big, when changed size it went through straight away.

          Yeah but i'm useless - i have a really old laptop and a french isp....so will try again but..............anyway the guy who is clearing my land came to tell me he's starting tomorrow - and anyway its pissing down..................

                        I'm putting them in an album - please visit my page - i've put up the view from my land and to follow during course of afternoon - view in the other direction - how overgrown the land is with my house peeping over the embankment - the JCB ripping up the brambles....
