    I've never trusted Photobucket.

We're probably all thinking of another spelling
I've never used it, or anything similar but I guess the other sites will follow suit soon.

I've just downloaded all my photos from their site, but it would take a month of Sundays to find one you were looking for in the zip file. You have to open each one to see what it is and do I really need to keep a picture of eg a red pepper I grew 3 years ago. It was relevant in the post at the time though....... but I'd hate to lose the pics of my grandchildren or all the celebration cakes I've made in the last 10 years.

Sorting them out is a job for a a cold winter day m'thinks

Yep another site I visit about Nottingham only has remote hosting for pics, they have been recommending PB for a long time, today they lost all the pics on the site.

I'm having a look at postimage to see what that's like.

I don't know who on the Vine uses PB but Maverick does - and his photo is still here http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ml#post1479191

I think it will take a while for PB to find them all..

I was reading on another forum and one of the members on there has lost all his photos, it looks really sad.

It seems very wrong to me that pictures that were put on there and links posted under the terms and conditions relevant at that time should be removed years later, because they have change the T&Cs recently. If the no 3rd party applied from now on, fair enough but to apply the rule retrospectively?
Can't really see Photobucket surviving this decision

                        Here's a novel idea........

The vine just gets fixed to allow decent sized photos.........Job done.

                        Regards........Rob

Here is a better idea - use infranview which is free, open your photo and save and it reduces the size significantly then if over the 2K limit then reduce the size by a percentage so that it uploads. It takes seconds to do

Or just right-click on the image, select edit from the options and resize from there. Simples.

The only issue with that is that your images are always as an attachment and have to be clicked on. The forum won't accept links from my website, where most of my relevant allotment pics are.
