  • Pheasants anyone?

No not real ones, I've been given (to find them a good home) a pair of pheasant pictures, painted on glass and framed to be used as 'kitchen hatch' doors.
Because we do surveys for people buying houses, we tend to meet folk who are packing up ready to move. This time the gentleman was clearing out the garden shed, and a lot of things were heading for the tip. These pictures were simply not going to fit in the new (smaller) house, and too nice to throw away, so I offered to rehome them.
    Anyone here interested?
The doors would fit the typical hatchway between kitchen and dining room, and one has a picture of the usual type of pheasant, the other of the darker 'Japanese' type, beautifully painted. They were painted by a friend of these people about 40 years ago, and have been used for that sort of hatch, but a few years ago the kitchen was enlarged and the hatchway sealed off. The pheasants have been sitting in the garden shed ever since.
If anyone wants them, let me know and I will make arrangements!

Is Hilary offering peasants? My mistake, thought We were back to pheasants. Peasant are revolting but pheasants taste fowl/foul
