  • percy charlie week 38 update.

still here with an ever expanding bump although i thourgt baby was contemplating an appearence on saturday, however baby changed its mind.
baby still not in position, and can still does 360s in there, midwife is reviewing me on wednesday so baby really needs to make its mind up on position.
everything is ready including the cot.
for those who not had a guess yet and want to with regards baby weight day baby born time and natural or c section birth, post your guess on my what do you think thread, you can find it by searching my name. cant think of exact wording of title pregnancy has given me porridage brain.
i really want to finish the lottie off but i think i need to wait now till after little wriggler is here, swollen ankels, finding it hard to breath and the pelvis pain cased by the pregnancy pelvis condition spd, back ache and being unable to really bend in the middle means my body is against me on this one
il be doing my bit for the environment and reducing land fill, by using reusable nappies, breast pad and breast feeding, these also help your income too saving £30-40 a week against disposible nappies breast pads and formula. the reusable nappies have come a long way over the years and just so cute now, i used the lazier route first time round thanks to oh but now im not working, im doing what i wanted to do first time round, if anyone wants to know more about the nappies pm me so long as not in labour il reply, but dont always manage to get on every day now. also most councils give you £25 for using reusable nappies.
il be freezing some of my summer fruit for purees for when baby on solids which will be autumn time and veg to which is not winter growning.
i can really say since gardening became a hobby my life has been more positive, and im sure the family far more healthier.
all the best to you all percy charlie

If you want baby to get into the heads down position try spending some time on your knees! An old midwife suggested this for my first and it worked - she thought that the reason so many more babies didn't present properly was because none of us youngsters scrubbed floors on our hands and knees anymore Might help. And according to my Granny you should open all the cupboard doors in your house to ease the baby into the world (or knock your head off and bang your knees - I'm not sure which!)

And none of mine 'engaged' before I went into labour either (maybe I'm just odd)

And OH is still waiting for the 'nesting/cleaning' thing to start (Girls are now 9,7 and 5!) He might have to wait a little bit longer

    Good luck! Keep us posted

Do you not a name for the wriggler (or is it wriggler?). We've had Bean, on the go we have Sweet Pea and the duo of pea and pod. Can't give any advice other than pop your feet up and rest. Keep giving us the updates.

Take care PC, I had the pelvis thing with my 3rd, bloomin painful!! Much better to leave the gardening for a bit than do yourself a mischief.
Pootle is right, if you want to change the baby's position, hands and knees is the way to do it, and it'll take pressure off your pelvis too

Good luck, hope you aren't waiting too long now.

Good luck PC, not long to go now then you can pack little wriggler into one of those harnesses you carry them around in these days and potter on the lottie
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
