  • percy charlie baby have a guess what do you think?

as everyone was so wild on guessing hey waynes, bean thourght youd all like to try mine.
im due 13 april this is my second baby around 10 weeks to go and its going slow!
had to have a scan at 28 1/2 weeks where weight was estimated at about 3lbs but they did this with my first and she came out totally different weight to predicted weight by the scan, so id go for a plain guess for this as scan weights have a 17 % error margain.
i have a name picked for either sex. hubby had children of both sexes with his first wife so either is a possibility.
my first born was 52cm (20 1/2 inch) but neither hubby or i are tall and she was long and still is quite tall for her age hubby has a 6ft4 brother but hubby is 5ft7 im 5ft5 first borns head was not too big (but big enough) so i wouldnt mind this one having a similar sized baby again
my first labour was 10 hours 37 mins from first contraction to baby if anyones planning on guessing how long il suffer for, but as all mums know its worth it.

for all those wanting a guess would you like to post a reply with your guesses containing the following :-
sex of baby, weight, day you think will arrive, length of baby and any other connected guess you would like to add.

i promise il tell you who got closest overall and who guessed what correctly looking forward to reading all your predictions over the coming weeks.

im really excited about meeting the baby we have nick name baby little wriggler, sometimes think should change it to either kung fu expert, gymnast or footballer.

    all the best percy charlie

Oooh... this is so exciting! All these little ones!

Hope you're doing ok Kelly - sounds like the labour fairy was kind to you the first time around so good luck for this one too.

I'll guess boy, 7lb 4 oz, on the 10th April. I am ALWAYS wrong (except with my own baby!) so it is likely to be the opposite to all these things. Mr R is really good at it - he keeps winning the sweeps in his office for guessing babies weight etc.

having the pelvis condition spd im not holding my breath for an easy labour extra painful maybe, but wanting to avoid epidural if i can, our hospital has 2 birthing pools but there first come first served so hoping i drop lucky for one of them, where both in use when i had my first, this may help with the spd, have loved reading the pridictions so far i like the thourght of a dawn birth if no complications id be home before 2pm in the afternoon. cant wait to see what the others guess, its making it more exciting.

i like the thourght of short painless labour sue and zazens 6lb 6 the lightest out of your predictions sounds quite nice, especially as hoping to avoid pain releif if i can but with spd may not be possible. for all those expecting babies with a due date after 6 th of april have you heard about the HIPG grant health in pregnancy grant, available to all women working or not and is applied for via a form signed by your midwife, once you reach 25 weeks you get £190, but is only available is your due date is 6th april onwards and once form sign you have 30 days to send to inland revenue. on some forums the goverment has paid it very quickley some women have been told they will get the money in march or april, my midwife is bringing my signed form next week and then i can send it off so will give further information on this once i know. 30 1/2 weeks now and everything ready so really organised this time round. moved house the day after i had my first baby so this time should be more relaxed hopefully. take care evryone all the best pc
