lol, i got one of those (not a weight watchers one, mine was from the pound shop) ..... i racked up 50 steps sitting down on the sofa and getting up again,

so just going to the loo i did most of my daily quota (goes to loo a lot lol)

It's just a normal day, not done any proper exersise yet!

Got another school walk to do then just chasing the toddlie round!

It's quite astonishing to watch them mount up.

OH and me had a some cheap ones a few years back and he INSISTED his was faulty as I did about 11000 steps in one day(pre-children) and he did 2000. Now he does less, climbs the stairs to go to work, climbs back down again - and that's about it!

He says I make him feel tired all the wandering about I do lol

You have to calibrate them first!

Wander round, counting your steps for a given time, then check against the pedometer. I did 600 steps and mine said I'd done 2,000 Try it on your hip instead of front/back of waistband, or even on the leg of your trousers/socks, to see if it's more accurate. That's what theleaflet with mine advised.

            Good luck!

I got mine with the game My Health Coach for my DS Lite console. At the end of each day you plug it into the console and it tells you how many miles you`ve done.
Every few days it ups your recomended daily amount of steps I`m now on 7500 a day. I normally do about 9000.
