  • Pea & Pod will be here in LESS than 2 weeks!

Good Morning all my lovely friends!

I hope you are all well and not too busy on the plots or in your gardens. I do know that those of you I "see" on Facebook are never busy as you are always playing games or having wonderful banter chats on our status reports. However the rest of you (who I cannot keep an eye on) are bound to be working hard, when you are not obsessing about Olivier that is - I saw you!!!!

Well the WONDERFUL news is that I now have an induction date!!!! Unless I manage to get there myself naturaly (if bouncing on a trampolene can be classed as natural, especialy when I dismount with two black eyes! ) I will be under starters orders on the 5th October. I am soooo excited I cannot tell you!!!! LOL!!!

These babies are loved, adored and wanted more than anything in the whole wide world right now and I know you will all be sending the final bouts of positive vibes that they arrive safe and sound. Am more impatient than ever to get these babies in my arms especialy as I have been thinking alot about my angels the past few weeks. I got through the 2nd anniversary of the due date of angel number 3 and the 1st anniversary of the loss of angel number 4 in a fairly positive way due to Pea and Pod who are quite good at reminding me of their pressence and making me focus on them rather than unhappier times. I am sure that with the birth of these two little darlings, these sad anniversarys will begin to fade into irrelevance, perhaps to just be marked at Christmas or other such appropriate time.

I had what should be my final scan yesterday but before I reveal the results, I will give all you sweepstakers out there a stern warning! Di is watching and will know if any of you try and amend your predictions!!!! LOL!!!! You will be shocked (well I was so shocked I nearly peed my pants!) to be told that having weighed in at 4lb 14oz and 5lb just two weeks ago, they are now predicted to have got to 5lb 14oz and 6lb 2oz - thats a weight increase of over 20% EACH in just two weeks!!!! When you consider thats double the weight increase they have been putting on throughout AND twins are apparently meant to have a huge slow down in weight gain the last 4/5 weeks of gestation!!!! To add to that astounding fact - I myself have only put on just over a stone which is half the typical weight gain for a SINGLE pregnancy!!!! So after the birth I will have to be careful not to turn sideways or you wont be able to see me!!!!

Dont despair sweepstakers though as these estimations are (I am sure and have been told everywhere I go) really guesstimations and they are notoriably (sp) incorrect, most often with babies arriving a fair bit smaller than predicted. Also I am pleased to tell you (sorry if its too much information for some) that I am 1 1/2 cm dilated and my consultant thinks I wont need inducing anyway!!!! YAY!!!! I will however suggest to Di that she doesnt take any notice of sweepstake predictions on the sweepstake thread past these shocking snippets of information. Perhaps if anyone wants to post a 2nd prediction (just for fun) on this thread to see if anyone can do any better than the first lot!!!!

Hopefuly next time I get on here will be to thank Di for making the announcement and telling you all about my gorgeous little bundles of joy and how they arrived into this world.

Oh happy days!!! Happy days indeed.

    I'm excited for ya.

Stuff the sweepstakes, just concentrate on you and those two little bundles of joy (and poop).

I can't remember my prediction date, but I down't reckon you'll see the end of nextweek on your own, I reckon they'll be here by Friday.

    Good luck to ya.
