I am in pain! Earlier this evening i walked right into a door, left side of my head and neck got it Felt a bit wobbly afterwards, I think my left eye went into shock and the side of my face head and neck now feel like they have been through the wars.

So decided to have a couple of Baileys for the shock!!!!

Didn't work, still feel like the elephant man, lifting one eyebrow is a bit of a problem!

No black eye, but a bruise on my cheek bone, and a bit of a bump on the top of my head.

I fought the door....and the dooor won lallahha!!!

Fed up with Baileys now, its making me feel fat

And whos idea was it to put that door there in the first place?!?

On the plus side with all the sun we have had here over the last week, the bruise doesn't look as bad as the sunburn?! Cant win really

I'm known for my rubbish spacial awareness and frequently bash my head on walls/fireplaces/doorframes (all these in the 5 weeks). Two of those were bad enough to have me seeing stars for a few minutes! I'm not clumsy at all, but seem to be a bit prone to smacking my head to various hard surfaces... doesn't seem to have affected my ability to lift a medicinal glass though...

                  Morning everyone...

Its 8.30 here, and after walking into a door, i don't look any worse than normal this morning!

The other week i shut the car door on my thumb, on wed my son accidentally kicked me with a force on my left shin. So i conclude that i am not accident prone at all

As for the weather, well we have had a really good week, hot and not a lot of wind. I just checked the weather forecast for the weekend and its due to get really really windy here. I think i will stay in the house today otherwise i could get knocked out by flying debris

My old man works outside all year round and he is always complaining about wind burn....just cant win!!

My hubby being wind burnt face has just reminded me, i am very worried about my pumpkins. I planted 7 and now i only have 3 left, same with my runner beans, planted 4 only have like 1.5 half left. I know i know, its not a lot of runner beans Infact it might be less embarrassing to pull the remaining plants up

                      Ohhhhh the shameeeee!!!!

Are you trying to make us all jealous talking about sunburn? We're all freezing to death or drowning in the rain over here! O.K. so not jealous of your black eye, hope you're feeling better soon & that you don't lose anymore pumpkins or runner beans (can't you remember where you planted them or have they blown away on the wind?)
Into every life a little rain must fall.

                          Hi SueA

I feeeel fine, thank you. Fortunately i don't have a black eye, which is good because in a small place like this people will automatically think i am a beaten wife. Which i am not, cause my hubby is such a softy i could get away with anything

Pooooor old pumpkins and runner beans! I went out a gave them a good soaking earlier as the lack of rain is taking its toll. Big bonus though, i think the pumpkin is about the flower whoohhooooo. I am a Gardner, i am a Gardner lallaaalllaa!!

The sun, yeah sorry about that!! If it makes everyone feel better, whilst your all sitting in the sun and watching your gardens grow i will be digging a path out to the car in the snow and spending my days grumbling about the cold. I hate the winter i tend to spend 6 months sulking laterally!!
