Ouch, Madmax offered to buy me one of those once - I asked if he fancied having his chin hair pulled out a handful at a time

Someone bought my wife one for christmas.
Needless to say, it hasn't been out of the box.
Having said that, apparently the more you use it, the easier the hairs come out. Also, they apparently don't grow back as thick.

It's well worth perservering with, according to my big sis, Pisk - which is why she has baby smooth pins & mine resemble those of a footballer.

El Greeno - waxing often enough and the hairs not only stop growing as thickly, they stop growing all together!

Apparently the Native Americans were known for not growing beards - consequently there are a good few Americans these days who don't have to shave much!

Waxing takes a good quarter inch of hair growth to be effective...

Lazer is an expensive way as you have to hit the hair follicle just right!

I once had to shave where a man doesn't normally shave.
