Himself and I are getting hitched in July and to keep costs down, my mum and I are doing the flowers ourselves. I'm going to grow what I can, but in case I'm rubbish at growing again, I've been looking at getting the flowers from a local supermarket/market and making the arrangements from them.
Point is, I saw some lovely bunches featuring ornamental cabbages in Sainsburys this morning, and while I think they looked lovely, theres a pretty good chance my mum may just think I've lost the plot.
Steve and I are trying to put personal touches in everywhere we can, for example this on the cake, cos he loves fishin

...but I can imagine it would become quite smelly...suppose it depends on what you plan to do with it after...My mum made a last minute little boquet for me...I dried it & still have it framed in the bedroom.
