I do contract work and as I'd had a good year, when my contract ended at the end of June 2007 I decided to take 3 months off over the Summer. I'm ashamed to admit I spent a large part of that 3 months playing Rainbow Six Vegas on-line on the XBox360. As you can play against people all round the world I would normally start after dinner playing against people in Europe and then by the time they were all getting tired and going to bed the Yanks would be starting to come on-line. This led to quite frequent all-nighters where I would stumble up to bed about 7 in the morning, get up about mid-day, spend the afternoon dozing in the sunshine until it was time for the cycle to start again.

Pretty irresponsible for a 50 year old, but I did achieve the rank of Elite

Not if it was your relaxation and if it was free. I suspect there are many costly addictions around and you could have been up to much more irresponsible behaviour.

I spent way too long a few years back playing WoW. I had to get MrH to delete it and hide the discs!
Now I just grow imaginary veg on facebook

I have resisted farmville so far. I hear its very stressfull ensuring your crops are watered and tended - just like the real thing.

Yeah, I can't afford costly addictions, that's why I grow my own.

And of course that was only on the nights I wasn't out drinking to excess, picking up loose women and making home movies.

i dont water my farmville crops....all i do is think about when they need to be harvested....the times vary from 2hrs to 4 days....so i plant things i know i can harvest ok.....it isnt stressful(and if it is, then i'm not playing it right!).
it is time consuming collecting from the animals and trees.....if you have loads of them!. i visit my farmville twice a day generally....morning and evening!.

ummm....so in answer to the OP....i play farmville!.

I play a few games and I have done the farm ones but I just dont get it, cant be bothered with it now so please dont anyone send me anymore requests or gifts cos I just ignore sorry to those of you who do. Same goes with Farkle dont get it. I do play the scrabble one on fb so if anyone wants to play I am rubbish as you will see. The new bejeweled has got me hooked again I had almost given up with that one as my scores were rubbish.
