  • One mans' rubbish

Mods, please move if in wrong section..........What do they say? One mans' rubbish is another mans' treasure. Like many Grapes, I like to think outside the box when looking at things. I came across this at work being thrown away. I have no idea of its intended purpose but it makes a fine seed box. I'm open to any ideas you may have used for someone else's rubbish.

I was thinking it had probably come from pharmacy/somewhere they dole out pills. Whatever it was, I want one!

We've reused a couple of old modular shelving units, laid flat on the ground, as raised beds for our strawberry plants in the school garden. And I have a couple of big wooden packing crates serving as raised beds on the allotment. Nothing as fancy looking as your seed organiser though

I've got a couple of them upstairs in some cupboard still full of disks, didn't like to chuck them out and now I'm glad I didn't

Looks more organised than my bread bin, I've got an old floppy disc holder somewhere, I found it when looking for some programming examples for DD when she was doing some coursework. I've got a usb floppy disc drive, so I could read them. I feel a change of use might be coming on.
Interesting seeing this saying here. I picked up some old broken paving stones for an allotment path today, and the owner came out with exactly the same words, then thanked me for saving him a job in getting rid of them at the dump.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

I might have to have a little wander into our stationery store at work, I'm sure we have some redundant disc boxes. Thanks BM.

I'd say an old floppy disk holder too.. we used to have them as individual units

I have 5 of the individual floppy boxes, already in use for seed packets! Great minds Big Mally!
