    Once in a blue moon?

    Take a look at the moon tomorrow night (if the weather is good enough where you are ) It will be the second full moon in one month which doesn't happen that often hence, once in a blue moon.

    Be sure to have your umbrella with you if you have fair skin, as moonburn is a distinct possibility.

        i thought it was one tonight,looking out the window earlier,
        sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these

            been watchin the moon for a couple of nights, mainly because my daughter is fasinated with it and we've had to go to sleep with the curtain open watching it, it has seemed very large and bright the last two nights

              Clear night last night here too.
              Had to close the blind as it was shining straight in.
              The moonrays lit up the mist in the valley and in our field....looked really , really pretty.
              Icing on the cake was we could hear 2 tawny owls and a barn owl calling. Bliss!

              Will certainly look out for the Blue Moon tonight Scarey- thanks for mentioning that!

                My daughter and I can often be heard singing the line 'Blue Moon' I saw you standing alone. Only the first two words though, and mainly aimed at the other half when she bares something at us....
                I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
