    I don't want to start a heated discussion,but...
am I the only person who is fed up with hearing about the olympics? I have no interest in them whatsoever.

So am I in the minority or is anybody else feeling the same?

I'm just hoping the weather improves so that I can spend all my time outside, I know I can switch it off (tv and radio) but I do like to listen to the radio at work(I work on my own) and I do like to watch a bit of TV

I always get quite involved in the olympics when they're on and have been known to stay up late / get up early to watch certain things. However the fact that they're in London makes no difference to me as I'll still be watching on the TV and some of the blanket coverage of the advertising side of it is already starting to annoy.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

OOooohh Yeah.......not even slightly interested. I'm enjoying Le Tour for the aerial shots of France & Switzerland and the legs, but that's it.

It doesn't really interest me either, haven't even noticed much of it yet - bar the touch going over the mountain by me.

I have no interest in it either - hence this thread http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ers_66025.html
I don't even know when it starts- and don't bother to tell me because I won't read it

Not interested at all. Although, like Chris, I watched the "touch" on live video cos it went through Lowestoft.

I have to go to a basketball match. I don't really want to - the more I see of armed men on rooftops the more I want to stay at home.

Suffering from my normal apathy/dis-interest of sports, but I am curious as to how such a large company could make such a fundamental error ............................

............. my powers of observation are not brilliant but can you spot the error in the picture ? Which is Adidas London Olympics 2012 Team GB Large Wristband BTW

Do you think they were not allowed to use the actual flag colours for some strange reason?

Almost on topic, there is an online petition objecting to the taxbreaks that corporate bodies like Adid**, C*ca -C*la and McDs are having because of their sponsorship of the games. Also in Wales the Chief Medical Officer says that it is all wrong that the Games should be sponsored by manufacturers of junk food. Hot topic!!

No Mrs W, you are not alone - I have no interest in them in the slightest and have no idea when they start or finish. Dare I say that I think the money this country has spent on setting the thing up could have been much better spent elsewhere. (And I don't want to get involved in any heated discussion either, it's just my own personal view).
And how could they get the Union Jack wrong?

Nope - not alone. Don't even know what the touch is that you referred to. And don't explain, I don't wanna know!

As usual during these sporting events I shall have my radio on - tuned into 6 music. Sanity.

There are some sports I watch. My problem isn't with hearing about the Olympics per se, rather the incessant 'logos' this and 'sponsorship obligations' that...more like a corporate dictatorship than an international sporting event!

I'm also fed up of the management nightmare of this year in general; between the Euros and the Olympics sorting out annual leave and dealing with unauthorised absences (bad enough in the Euros but I know it will also be an issue in the Olympics), my workload has almost doubled.
