  • Old Seeds

I was searching in our garage yesterday and I came across some old seeds.

Lobelia seeds from 1996 and lavender seeds from 1997.

What do you think worth a go or throw them in bin?

Pop them in a bag with compost and some water and if they germinate, put the compost on fresh compost on a seed tray. If they don't - then put the lot in the compost bin.

How odd, Steve! Did exactly the same! Found a whole load of seeds yesterday, circa 1997 (!!!) in a rusty old biscuit tin that had been in my mum's barn since she passed away two years ago.
I have sown some of everything in her honour. I posted this on the Flower Mill and have been reassured by many that I can expect at least some of them to germinate.
      Good luck with yours!
