    Old grape google map thread.

    I started a new thread so we don't get all the links confused, waynes doesn't appear to be working so i though unless everyone is bored to death with the idea we could try again.

    I've shared a map with you called Grapvine3:Google Maps

    log into your google account
    load above linkage to go to map
    save to 'my maps'
    click on 'edit' on the left hand side
    search your location
    place marker
    on pop up balloon 'save to my maps' pick grapevine3 from the drop down box
    fill in name and text
    then on the left click 'done'

        well if you don't know you probrably haven't so go to Google and top right where it says sign in, click on that, as you haven't got an account it should show you how to register for one, you get a free gmail address etc so no need to use one that can be linked with you in anyway and you can just use it for google stuff.

            I'm not getting the pop up balloon to place the marker.

            Whoever sells trampolines near you must be doing well Bride!

              well it might seem it, but its not too bad, if its an allotment you want put up, pm me the address of the allotment site and I can put it up for you

              that goes for anyone else unless you want to actually pinpoint the exact plot, in which case, use google earth to pinpoint your exact location and post the full map reference in this thread, i will attempt to stick a pin in it for you.( which will be a cause for much hilarity cos i get lost with simple ones in WoW)

                          just cant do it. logged into my google account, but if I use the link above it just freezes. how do I find the grapevine 3 map?

                            yes its world of warcraft. not that i play any more, i play perfect world international now its free

                            I had a lot of trouble with google maps whilst i was setting this up, I had to switch to firefox instead of IE, it kept freezing up or moaning about a script running on googlemaps that was slowing IE down, no problem in firefox though.

                              I played WoW for far too long. Only way to quit was to uninstall and give the discs to hubby and make him promise not to reinstall even if i begged and whined

                              Think i may give up on map.....
