    Ok pretty it ain't...

    But it's a place to park me bum at the end of a hard days allotmenteering.

    The old bench - only a cheapy was on it's last legs having served us well for the last 8-9 years. The slats hard started to break and a couple gave way when LadyWayne sat on it last whilst holding Bean.

    So, I decided to butcher a couple of pallets I'd got from work and make myself a new, very sturdy one.

    So, out with the old (first pic) and in with the new (second pic).

    Top tip: don't decide to saw the pallets/wood when it's really warm. Saw, drip, saw, drip, saw, drip...

        Very nice too as good as some of the benches you get from a garden centre & will last longer.
        The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

                My brother in law took a bench apart to make seats for their boat added a cushion and its really nice. At least it will last wayne, wait till Hayden clambers up it.
