  • Ok, this is driving me mad!

The new Kaiser Chiefs song - Good Days & Bad Days.

When he starts singing it reminds me of a song we used to sing as a kid - something about a frog sitting on a log, eating bits of twine and twig yum yum.

Anyone else get it, and know what the song is I'm thinking of?

          Five little speckled frogs
          sat on a speckled log
eating some most delicious bugs (Yum yum!)
          One jumped inside the pool
where it was nice and cool
then there were four green speckled frogs (glub glub!)

Is it just me then, or does it sound like he's about to burst into a verse of the same song?

            Thank you!

I know one or two alternative versions of nursery rhymes but I don't think the mods would like them.

Right, that's it - I'll set up a Bookface group when I get home - we want justice (and royalties) for the speckled frog!
