Default Oh It's the Life

I'm sitting here feeding my little bubs. He's laying on a pillow on my lap, warm bottle of milk in mush, and fast asleep, drinking.

Oh how I wish it were me

Agree fully Shortie, would be nice to be free of the adult hassles just for a day or two wouldn't it

Oh dear, did I type too loudly when I replied? Just me breathing used to wake our younger son - now you could set a banger off beside him and he wouldn't budge

Can you drink when you're fast asleep? I think I'd choke! You paint a lovely picture of bliss Shortie!

I had a very difficult problem, especially when feeding the 'nippers'. Whenever I see anyone drifting off to sleep, away I go too. I was feeding our middle son once, now 22, and my wife came into the room to find both of us sound out! Me snoring, Adam with the bottle in his ear, milk all down his face. She was not a 'appy bunny!

Oooh Shortie, that sounds soo blissful.. The toddler is gone beyond that, but did fall asleep (for the first time in more than a year) while she had her going to bed bottle the other night in my arms. It's such a wonderful feeling. I hope you get him to sleep again soon.

I used to read or crotchet when feeding mine. Peaceful part of the day!

Oh, that's so lovely. My littlest still falls asleep in my arms sometimes and I shall so miss it when that phase finally ends!
