We had summer a week or so ago. Think it may be Autumn now!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

            Thanks for the nice comments.

Need to restock the shed though if this weather is to continue.

Round here in the last few days we have had pubs with 2ft of water running through them, numerous cars trapped by flash floods, even the trams stopped running at one stage.

It's looked pretty bad in Nottingham. Here we had minor flash floods trough town, but they were 'only' 8 inches deep.

Lovely plot Sparrow, was stuck in the shed ourselves for an hour and a half while it bucketed down. Did see a twister/cone thingy though coming down out of the clouds about a mile away. It only lasted three or four minutes and didn't get anywhere near down to the ground but it's the only one I've ever seen so I was quite taken with it.

Yesterday the water was flowing down the path at the rear of our garden and down our path ponding at the bottom and I watched as it came above the decking tiles. The volume of rain was greater than 10 days ago when this happened in Wallington

There is a video on YouTube showing one idiot driving into it and becoming a boat and floating before it sunk (Not posting here because the bad language used to describe the driver)
