  • oh good lord

I have two dogs, i have a stupid labrador, he is ridiculously stupid, for an intelligent breed - he didnt get that gene!! and i have a staffordshire/akita cross, he's very protective so he has to be muzzled - if you come in the house even just walk in he is great its when hes out and about.

Anyway, the staff cross went to live with mr husbands dad for a year, even then carers were in and out of the house and he was amazingly friendly but offered good protection for his dad and his dads old dog, in return hid dad fed him steak and chips and chicken and anything really and so as a result the dog has put a lot of weight on despite telling his dad hes doing him no good.

As some know mr husbands dad died on christmas dog as well as his old dog and so 'chomp' is back living with us and ridiculously fat!!!

Ive managed to get about a stone off him so far, and today i took them both out, and i found this great big secluded field which is great for them two they can just run and run, if i take them anywhere public they never go off the lead. Well we had to drive around said field to find a disabled access point because fat dog couldn't get over the stiles!!!!! I had to find a bug gate for his wide load!!!!

They are both now on their bed absolutely knackered!! though they have just got up to try and attack the postman!

There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.
