  • No more fb apps for me.

I have just taken the big step and removed myself from all applications on facebook.
Only chat for me from now on.
Way too much time is spent on those things, and I will spend all my christmas holidays on it if I have farms, restaurants, and mafias to keep updated.
Sorry to anyone who gets gifts from me - there will be no more.
I am now going to focus my time on here of course, and on getting real things done.

I've been trying to cut down on the amount of games I play - and failing miserably!!

    Must try harder!

I am hoping it is easier than stopping smoking. - I haven't succeeded in that one yet

I don't even know what they are

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I have not only cut the apps (not that I did them anyway) I have also cut FB - it doesn't really float my boat (yuk cliché) and there are sooooooooo many security issues with the darn thing!

I'm a Mafioso too zazen And a vampire and a farmer
BUT...as I'm not a TV watcher except for maybe one or most two programs in one night playing or working on the pc instead is my 'relax'. I'm also stuck on a market stall all day 4 days a week, so can play at work when its quiet, and sometimes its nearer dead than quiet! So I'm not playing games instead of doing something else exactly. And in summer the pc grows cobwebs cos I'm outside as much as poss.

No, I rarely watch TV either; watched some last night which was a rarity for me. 3 whole programmes - from back to back.......

I do find it rude (with no reference to anyone here!) when some people say 'you are always on FB/computer/whatever, you need to get a life'

We all have the same 24hrs and we all get to choose how we spend it - I like watching (some) TV, I like some online time - and as for watching three programmes back-to-back (as Fi says, wild woman you!) I have been known during 6Ns to watch three matches back-to-back

I tend not to use the games on there - it's more for sharing photos of Bean with Far-flung relatives and such.

Why, do they start to ignite all on their own if you stare hard enough?
