  • No diamonds thank you

Having emptied all my kitchen boxes it was plain to see that having lost one third of kitchen storage (from last MQ to this MQ) I had nowhere to put stuff.

Each morning for the last fortnight I have got up to face mess - stuff all over the kitchen work tops. I don't do mess

It was putting me into a depressed state of mind each morning, for which I am ashamed, when you consider what some people have to cope with.

Snowdrop turned a sort of broom cupboard into a larder full of shiny shelves, I now have clean, clear work tops.

It only takes a cupboard to make me happy

Just thinking the same as Flo! With an OH like that, who needs diamonds!! Mine was enthusiastic, but a bit cack handed. But he did a grand job, tidying the kitchen!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

You are SO like Mr Z.

He gets really grumpy if there is any mess; and smiles like a loon once he's sorted it.

I just let him do it and make a coffee for when he's done.

Well done Snowdrop and glad you are getting sorted Piskie.

Madmax is chief kitchen tidier here - I am usually more engrossed with other stuff

Wish I had someplace to turn into a larder - we got a new kitchen but still seem to have a lot of stuff with nowhere to hide

My hubby and eldest were working in a school and I got lots of old science cupboards, so he made me a kind of larder in the garage.
Where did I put all the stuff thats in it before

yay, will he clear the kitchen too?

OH tut-tutted as he sorted the kitchen this weekend while I was chopping and shredding trees in the garden. Not sure what was going on there.

I'm the oppostie - I can't do 'tidy'. I get really antsy and nervous if every surface is clear. I like my stuff around me!
