Thanks very much Thea - I saw this at 7.35, knocked on the floor (I'm upstairs you see) and asked Himself to record it for me. Will watch it later, thanks again, I'd forgotten all about it.

What? Nigel Slater or Rolf Harris, or maybe both?

Would love to know what everyone thought?

Myself, I felt that it was pretty dumbed down - flapjacks etc....

the missus is a proper foodie, loves all her cooking programmes ... and i like some too .... we don't watch much else on telly ....
we watched this one last night .... she thinks nigel slater is great, but i think he's too dreary .... and i didn't think much of the stuff he cooked in last nights show ....

Quite like Nigel Slater although a) the greengrocers he visited isn't a greengrocer but a rather nice (and posh) local shop that didn't just stock fruit and veggies and b) whilst I've probably got most of the things he mentions in my store cupboard, he would become quite disillusioned if he looked in the average kitchen cupboard round the country. Food looked OK and made me hungry while I was waiting for my tea to finish cooking

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I enjoyed it but it's nothing new really. Just thought I bet that shop is made up with all the free advertising.
