    Next issue...?

    Is the next issue of GYO out yet for subscribers..? I re-newed my subscription over 2 weeks ago and as yet have not received the Sept issue, i used to get it several days before on sale date.

    Any subscribers got theirs yet.?

    I have to check as i have a dodgy postman, and thinking about it is there a postal strike on...?

        You want to make sure you get it- tis a good un- loads of info on what to do with a glut.

          Got mine yesterday, and yes the postmen are still revolting! Unspecified days round here but we didn't get any post today. Last week it was Friday no post day. Trouble is for a one day strike it seems to take them three or four days to catch up.

            GLUT????? The only crop producing well at the moment is runner beans, and my neighbours love them, spot me coming home from the lottie with bulging bag and stand chatting til I have to say would you like some fresh runner beans.

              Not got mine yet, but then I'm a few days behind. Was there a postal strike today? I wondered why there was no mail.

              Seasprout - Not sure how long the subscription takes to "kick in". You could ring them to find out tomorrow. They should be able to tell you whether you will be getting this months. The number is on the inside front cover of the magazine (I don't have one with me at the mo!)

                bugger.

                Cheers all, was told there would be no gap in subscription but it appears there was. Will ring with haste tomorrow. Has not occured to me if they are in on a Sat.

                    Gave them a ring today (Sat) and found they work Mon - Fri. Quite right too.

                    Its disgusting this working at weekend habit some people have. So after I got home from work I was overjoyed to discover my issue has arrived and my sweet peas have got greenfly - are the two connected..?
