  • New Years Resolutions?

Hold on to something supportive so you don't faint when I say that I have had a goodish idea!

Whats your NY Resolution going to be?
Mine are - less caffeine - more sleep - plan where my far too many veggies are going by Jan 7th and continue growing old as disgracefully as possible.

    How about you lot?

I make New Resolutions nearly every day of the year and break them all by the next day.
Given up trying to do it on New Year's Day.
Good luck to those who do

I don't do resolutions, more goals for the year ahead.

Goal get the garden sorted. Hopefully all going well I can get the veg patch in shape once the garden is sorted but may be pushing it.

Nah- stopped doing them as I actually felt very negative about myself when I broke them...usually within days.

Now I think along the lines of 'in what way would I like to try and change my life-style' and work towards that as a target.
If I only get 5% of the way there, I can be pleased with myself for managing that much!...and sticking to it.

Well I try not to make resolutions as like most people I fail within a couple of days. However I have a few goals for 2015 - lose a fair few pounds (I normally do that by cutting out the treats) and I will do a sponsored walk in aid of Fire Fighters Charity and Headcase in memory of Mr Frosty. Also pass my course in horticulture and my wee course in permaculture. Lastly try and be more organised over what I will be growing (really got no chance)

My only goal is to succeed with my tattie experiment.

                  I don't make resolutions. However, this year I have it sussed;
I resolve to be just as fat, useless, lazy, incompetent, and intolerant as always!

See, I think I might just make it this year!

Oh I know for an absolute fact that there is only one thing I will still be doing next year that I am doing now - growing old as disgracefully as possible.
I wish I was strong enough to actually achieve what I want but .....hey ho!

Well this year I tried my Not the New Year's Resolution thread to break some bad habits of mine and to create some better ones. I feel it was partially successful in that I did get semi organised and started setting myself some achievable goals. I also had fun!

Things fell apart a bit when I got my little Petal from the dog sanctuary - she is a real sweetie but takes up rather a lot of time - and her and Rosie get into all sorts of mischief which really keeps me on my toes! I am also having more fun than ever!

And fortunately I am able to grow old very disgracefully
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I'm just not growing old, disgracefully or otherwise. I have decided to stay the age I am at now forever
