  • New Year Books giveaway

Oh what a lovely MoM parcel I got!

I want to share some of it with you.
Although I'd love ducks & geese, there's no way Mr TS would allow that! And moon-planting is beyond me, I can barely cope with basic 4 bed crop rotation.

Therefore, I have the following to re-gift, so please PM me with what you'd like, and your postal address*, and I'll take names out of the hat on New Year's Eve.

    1) In Tune with the Moon 2010

    2) The History of Tea

    3) Keeping Ducks and Geese

    4) The Wisdom of the Snail

    * I won't store addresses, they'll be deleted

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

If the 'Wisdom of the Snail' book lets you into the secret of getting rid of the little so-and-sos put me down for it please!
Very kind thought Two Sheds, I'm sure someone will be able to make good use of them. Hope your other goodies were useful for you.

TS, you've just shown why you got voted mom in the first place. What a super thing to do.

Right, the draw has taken place: Kali the parrot and Mr TS drew the winners.

I haven't time to answer everyone who entered, so would just like to say, if you haven't heard from me you aren't a winner, sorry.

I'll be posting tomorrow, so the books should be with the winners by next weekend

Yeah! Was just feeling fed up because the snow is falling thick and fast here and I can see I'm going to be stuck inside for a while and the postman came.

                            I WON!!
I was lucky enough to get the "In tune with the moon " book. So pleased and excited - I've never won anything before!!

So a very big thank you to Two Sheds for offering the books and to the person who drew my name out of the hat

I've had a quick peep and it looks very complicated, but I can sit inside in the warm now and have a good read though it this afternoon.

Thanks again TS, it was very kind of you.
Have a good growing year in 2010.
