  • New T & M Seed Catalogue's..

They've just arrived, I snatched it up off the door mat, ran into the kitchen, ripped open the plastic bag it was in with great anticipation and....

What a disappointment..... I was expecting something with a few more new veg in than this, there's nothing in it that really grabs you by the shoulder's and shake's you... I think there only saving grace is they have "Naga Jolokia & Naga Jolokia Chocolate Chili's" in, 6 seeds of N.J for £3.99, 6 seeds of N.J.C for £4.99, me thinks expensive......

Oh... mine has just arrived - I haven't opened it yet....

    Won't hurry then!
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

      Sounds a bit pricey.

Any vouchers in it? I find that if I don't order anything this year, then next year they usually send a voucher. I don't tend to buy from catalogues unless there's a voucher in it.

No, no vouchers, nothing really to encourage me to buy anything from them...

You see, that's what I need to part with money, very good encouragement.

Well, you never know, mine might be waiting at home and hopefully have some encouragement in it.

Mine not arrived yet - but looked on website at the new stuff and there's a range of 'Urban Garden' seeds. Now whilst I appreciate some varieties may have been chosen for the environment and smaller surroundings giving smaller mini crops - the packet size and price were a big disincentive imho to encourage would be GYOers to make use of their smaller gardens in the cities and towns. Better that 2/3 neighbours bought a standard pack and split.

Mine arrived this morning, which I thought was a tad early, we don't usually see the new catalogues until October. I only had time for a quick flick through, but I too am singularly unimpressed.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

I also had mine, but gutted no vouchers anymore.
Terry Walton has reccomended Shallot Golden Gourmet for me to try next year, and T&M are about the only place that appear to have them available.

However at £3.99 for 15-20 sets with £4.45 P&P...I DONT BLOODY THINK SO.!
Where are they sending them from...... Mars.!!

There seem to be lots of veggies in the back half, plus a kitchen garden supplement. However, check out the difference in price between the duchy originals moneymaker toms and the regular moneymaker toms........what's the duchy ones got that the regular ones don't??????

Lucky, due to a minor but awkward thumb injury, it makes it hard to turn the pages of squeaky printed catalogues; so I'll not be looking through it again. Well, I might, in a week or so when the bandage comes off

I grew Golden Gourmet this year Seasprout, I picked them up in Poundland for, well, a pound. They did very well and there were at least 25 sets. Might be worth checking out nearer the time if you have one nearby.

And as the lovley Mr Walton had the goodness to reply to me, I might even let him know.

They must be good if he recommends them.!

They seem to have dropped Harlequin potatoes from their catalogue too I think the only thing I'll be getting from them are Sarpo spuds, because no-one else does them. Any of their seeds I fancy I can pick up from the stand at the GC with no postage costs.
