KK has started getting into animation, don't know if you'll enjoy it but there are some cracking leggo models out there to be animated and the software isn't too expensive.

You say you're no good at arty/crafty stuff Steve, but have you tried jewellery making? It's wonderfully relaxing.

Have a go at home brewing.

It's easy to do, and you can link it with gardening by growing stuff to make into wine.

With the prices nowadays, plus the threat of a minimum price for alcohol looming it also makes economic sense too

Printing - loads of different types of this.
                Calligraphy.
                Silver working.
                Leather working.
                Archaeology.
                Research your family history.

...and this was at your local whitewater centre so if I can travel 210 miles to go there...

Mountain bike racing? Horseriding? Dog clipping - you could make some awesome shapes out of some dogs! 4 Wheel driving and camping. You might not have like bonsai but how about some bigger trees? You could ask VC if you could pollard her woods - oh dear that doesn't sound good, but you know what I mean!

I'm off work all next week...........my 1st full week in 18 months so I'm gonna go to a different river everyday & go Barbel chasing. Doubt I'll catch any but it keeps me out of trouble....

How about Foruming? We all seem quite good at that!

Me and the OH are off fly fishing tomorrow, in fact he's in the loft tying me a few flies with long legs right now!

Will let you know what we catch - its a great hobby CS, relaxing, outdoors, and you may even catch supper!

I love getting out on my bike and heading into the countryside. No cars, few people. Just go off and explore.

                              Tried model making?
