I had a few 'nooooooooo nooooooo' moments when I watched the Dr Who Confidential programme, but I liked Christopher Ecclestone and thought David Tennant could never do it, now LOVE David Tennant, so maybe Matt will grow on me - towards the end of the interview I was already thinking that he'd be fine, but then again, I remember the original Dr Who way back when ...NellComment

We've only just started watching it - about 8 years behind everyone else. So not experts. I thought Ecclestone and Tennant were both very good. I fancied Paterson Joseph for it - he looks Dr-ish. I can't have a crush on a 26 year old! Not keen, if I'm honest (shamefully based purely on looks, he could of course be absolutely marvellous...)I don't roll on ShabbosComment

Well, I've seen him in a couple of other things, and I think he's got some talent. I think he'll do fine once he's settled into it, although I'm not sure how a 26 year old will cope with all the media hype/pressure.
To be honest, just the fact that it's not James Nesbitt is a major relief
