My Grandkids now owe me a packet of chewing gum. When I saw the possibilities I said to them 'That will be him'. Even though I can't stand the series. I bet they don't pay up.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

I had a few 'nooooooooo nooooooo' moments when I watched the Dr Who Confidential programme, but I liked Christopher Ecclestone and thought David Tennant could never do it, now LOVE David Tennant, so maybe Matt will grow on me - towards the end of the interview I was already thinking that he'd be fine, but then again, I remember the original Dr Who way back when ...

I said it'd be him too when I saw them talking about it on the "news" this morning. Quite frankly I couldn't care less, but I know there are miwyuns out there who do - my mum included.

We've only just started watching it - about 8 years behind everyone else. So not experts. I thought Ecclestone and Tennant were both very good. I fancied Paterson Joseph for it - he looks Dr-ish. I can't have a crush on a 26 year old! Not keen, if I'm honest (shamefully based purely on looks, he could of course be absolutely marvellous...)

That's been said of Doctors for years.

Love Tennant (as Dr Who character that is !!).
Matt Smith has about as much personality as Sellotape !!

My son and daughter wanted Catherine Tate to be the doctor, they are now in their rooms disgusted with the BBC's decision lol........

Well, I've seen him in a couple of other things, and I think he's got some talent. I think he'll do fine once he's settled into it, although I'm not sure how a 26 year old will cope with all the media hype/pressure.
To be honest, just the fact that it's not James Nesbitt is a major relief
