For anyone who doesn't take GYO magazine or has missed the small article about this, there's a new channel starting on sky.Called THE HORTICULRURAL CHANNEL, it begins on the 6th of March (SKY channel 166) and is dedicated to home growing and allotments.

I think "free to air" means it's part of your sky subscription pack. It's also on freesat channel 402, but tyhere's no mention of freeviewLive each day as if it was your last because one day it will beComment

Just had a brianwave!!!
I turned on the TV and pressed channel 166....and YEY!!!!...it's a basic freebie
( we have an old sky box which we used in the UK for the free view channels- but paid £20 for a different card.
Big thrill- it also works over here- but only limited channels)
So if I can get it I think everyone should be able to??? ( tis the Information channel at the moment)
Oh goodie- something else to distract me!!!

Thanks for the reminder. I'm really looking forward to this, I only watch a little television at the mo, but it will be a great boon to watch when Himself has got sport on, which is almost whenever the television's on.Granny on the Game in SheffieldComment

It will continue to be the Info channel. The horticultural channel will be just one of the programmes they show, other include a craft type show, NHS staff info and other odd 'info' type things

Sunday 9am starting March 6.
Repeated Monday & Wednesday 2pm and Friday 9pm.

Believe or not at 7pm it is the caravan channel eeek.
And if you are late getting up on sunday morning the information channel plus one hour is on channel 189 but these are sky channels..jacob
