Congrats Lynda, ours are beginning to scrabble about, trying to get out of the box. That's when the fun starts . Beware leaving headphones alying about, and watch out for unexpected puddles etc, until they learn where the litter is. Son No2, the owner, is returning to uni tomorrow, just in time to miss it all .
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Ooooh exciting! Lynda we want piccies asap, and if there's a Ginger female, I'll drive all the way up to you to collect - always wanted one.

BarleySugar, have you any more piccies? I HATED Siamese till I got one.

I'm pretty sure you can only get ginger toms G4 We've had a female with splodes of ginger & black, but All Ginger is a tom due to some sort of recessive gene... or something like that.

Me & my mate got two brothers several years ago....hers was the ginger"Tom"....the farmer didn't bother confirming the sex as it was ginger....several months later Tigger became Tiggy and develloped a rather large bulge in her tum!(if my mate had taken her to the vets when I got Jasper done,we might have found out sooner)So,yep...gingers most certainly can be ickle girls...shame we didn't know about the money peeps would pay back then...although by the time we knew we wouldn't have parted with her anyway!)

sorry...forgot to say I hope all goes well with her Lynda...isn't this waiting for babies lark fun!...*says she sat listening to the incubator switching on & off & desperately trying to get the humidity right!

Ginger females (I used to know one) and Tortie males are rare but not unheard of. Although Ginger Girls are far more common than Tortie Fellas. I adored the Ginger girlie that I knew, I swore, when I was a kid, that I'd have one.
