    Neighbours From Hell!

    I know we've had many discussions here about NFH be it noise, parking, aggression, rubbish etc etc - list endless.

    I've found a forum which, perhaps, may be more appropriate and which also, more importantly, may contain wider advice options than what we mere gardenophiles (?) may have. It will also give better opportunity to vent!

    I've signed up as my newest neighbours (change every 8 months) have already obstructed MY driveway access leaving their own clear. He is of the understanding that he has a valid tax disc and can park anywhere with impugnity! Outstanding!

    years ago in another property,we had young neighbours who regulaly parked across our drive,saying as we did not have a dropped kerb,we should not expect use of OUR drive,we had many a ding dong,thankfully they left us in peace,outside and in,their stairs went up beside our lounge,anytime day or night boots,thumping up and down,
    as i underderstand the law,it's an offence to block any access,the best of luck with that one quark,

      A dropped kerb can make all the difference - unfortunately, technically speaking even I cannot park over it or anyone of my chosing!

      It is seen as a low priority by police who have devolved this responsibilty to local councils.

      I have a particular need as my son's MHP's have deteriorated rapidly again and I could need doctor (house visit Friday - so serious!), ambulance and/or police at any time 24x7.

      But my need should not have to be revealed to uphold and respect the law and highway code - its so frustrating.

      And all too common.

      Has anyone asked? Yes - just the once in 13 years - for the most miniscule of 'possible' obstructions - on the driveway itself - a small pile of sand/cement. The request came from a visiting workman next door who clearly has a grasp of how to do business and keep everyone sweet. Common good manners and consideration.

        Dont get me started about blocked driveways.

        I live next door to a doctors surgery that has NO car park
