  • Neighbours baby

You may remember that I posted about my neighbours baby needing a heart operation. She had it done yesterday and the surgeon could put his finger through, it was worse than they thought, had it not been done she would not have survived much longer, she is 12 weeks old and weighs 8lb now. Hope everything will be ok and that she pulls through.

I hope the baby is well. Heart ops on the very young can be difficult in that it is such major surgery that the child has to be strong enough to face it, but because the heart is in such poor condition they'll never be strong enough without the op. The fact that your friends' baby has had the surgery at all is probably a positive sign, though I know it doesn't seem like it at the moment. My thoughts are with her.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

They are in Bristol so I can only keep in touch by text. I feel so far away from them and they dont have any close family ( deceased etc ) for support

Fingers crossed for the little one. It must be very worrying for them.
