  • Need a good cat flap.

The last couple of large cat flaps just didn't do the job because the magnets weren't strong enough to prevent it blowing open when we had some winds, plus the fur insulation seal kept coming off. Can anyone recommend one?
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

I have a Petporte - has a plastic 'stopper' so doesn't blow open, and operates on the cats' chips, so we don't have any uninvited guests. It was expensive, and the chip reader sticks out a bit, but I think that you can get rather more streamlined versions these days.

We have one which operates on the cats chip too. Works brilliantly

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We have a Sureflap cat flap, which again works on our cat's chips. Just as well as we seem to have lots of visitors in the garden recently. Works really well and any problems we had initially were sorted out with excellent customer service.
