Today we went to the Gardening Show at Shepton Mallet.
It was great - were loved the vegetable competitions (5 beans and 3 tomatoes etc), the Giant Dalias were amazing, and Im speechless to describe how brilliant the giant vegetables were.
Having only ever gone to country shows where the flowers and vegetable tents seemed to get lost iin the acres of other things we never really paid propper attention to them before.
Do you know if there are other events llike this one ? and is it just proffessionals that enter these things? (we saw the same names seemed to win most things).
