  • My spine op is done.

Hy everyone. I am home from hospital after having the double lumbar fusion and although i feel like i been trampled by a herd o elephants am so pleased it's done. It were a four an half hour operation and today the swelling is bad an nerves are starting to come back to life . I just wanted to say thank you all for keeping me company in hospital. Our hospital has a patient television, radio, internet service to each bed and although i was not up to logging on the forum and joining in, it was a big comfort in the middle of the night while waiting for the pain meds to work, to see all your familiar names and read through your posts made me not feel so lonely an made morning come round much quicker.

    much love,
    Wren

Hope you keep on feeling better Wren. Hospital's rubbish when you're on your own at night.
