Hi, I don't know where to put this, but I have a strange thing happening on the site.
When I click on my own name, it takes me to the profile page of a similar named member (who hasn't logged on for 4 years) and not my own.

Yep,that's odd only difference is the lower case l as first letter ...... http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra.../lawrence.html .... I would think one of the Mod's will be along shortly & will tell the appropriate person in Admin

    Welcome to the forums bud

      It's the full stop.

The only thing to do is to ask Admin to change your user name. I'll get them to send you a message.

Actually there is a full stop at the end of mine as well, it was meant to be Lawrence.Brown (because Lawrence was taken) but something happened when I submitted it.

It's the full stop at the end of yours that's the issue.

I'll ask Admin to contact you to sort it.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, my wife just had a car accident, and I had to rush out of the house to make sure she was ok.

Thanks for that, I thought it might have been, but if the site let me register as a unique name I thought it might be able to deal with it once I logged on with my own password.

I hope your wife is ok too. And that you get your username sorted so we can hear about your gardening exploits

Golly, a rather traumatic welcome to the Vine! I hope your wife is OK.

Looking forward to hearing about your gardening exploits, and where you come from.

Stay safe and have a good weekend.

Hi all, Yes my wife is ok.
Car is a bit of a mess, seems the other driver forgot to look both ways before pulling out.
Good news is nobody is hurt and the other driver has admitted full blame so we won't lose out (they say!)

I am off to make an introduction post, thanks for your help.

I'm amended your username which has sorted the profile details.

                          Thanks,
