My poor cat

How do they get in????? We've found them eating the dog biscuits before and they can't seem to keep away from the rabbit's food. The rabbit, admittedly, does live outdoors, but we completely clear all sign of them away every day and usually will find four or five of the things in the hutch by 10pm,

I get loads in my house and can't leave ANYTHING out in the kitchen, as they even climb up the worktops in the night. To stop them getting Rosco's food/water, I use one of those cardboard fruit boxes from the supermarket as a 'feed station' and move it around if I find a trail on it. Apparently these fat slugs can squidge themselves to a couple of mm to squeeze under doorways etc.

Ewwwwww! we get them, usually mostly when we have some rain or damp weather. Am seriously thinking about getting some nematodes and drenching my yard with them.

Am almost phobic about big slugs ever since I trod on one with bare feet.

Apparently they(and all slugs) will eat bran and then die!! Don't blame me if this doesn't work, it's only what I was told!!

Discovered on a late night mooch in the garden last night the mystery of where all the bird seed is going to and its not the early bird, its the late night big fat brown slug.

Yuck.

We had another leopard slug last night, just inside the cat flap.

No, I don't think that's how they get in, the cat flap is controlled by a magnet to a switch (on second thoughts I would put nothing beyond them!).

Our cat flap is next to the washing machine so we are assuming they are pootling up the waste pipe perhaps (ewwww, does that mean they get in the washing machine). I'm sure there is a big enough gap somewhere.

I wondered about killing them but would they eat bran since they are carnivorous - perhaps I should leave out a nice beef sarnie.

I think a duck in my sitting room would probably cause more problems than my resident slug(s). I live in a cottage and keep finding snail/slug trails on the carpets.
