    My e-petition!

    Some of you may be aware from a couple of my previous threads that my daughter Sam (Samwise off the vine) recently had a collsion with a foreign lorry, the police are unable to prosecute due to current legislation. I got to thinking about this and have decided to set up an e-petition to 10 Downing Street asking for more accountabily for overseas drivers who cause accidents whilst driving in the UK and to enforce the use of fresnel lenses, particularly of foreign lorry drivers to overcome the 'blind spot' issue.

    This is now not just for Sam but for all UK drivers.

              I think it has already been done a young girl from bedworth was killed on the M6 not long ago and local MP was involved at no 10 i know some thing was changed but not what.all the best....jacob

                Thanks Jacob but as it stands we recieved a letter from the police last week stating that due to current legislation they could not prosecute, so until anything changes I think I will persist. My local MP is also now involved.
