  • Is my cat here?

Just logging in to check that my best mates not here?

my cat, went missing last week. She was a stray I found in a bag in the canal, yep. I fed her, cleaned her up and she never left my side for the last 18 months - even comes to the lottie with me. Now she gone! missing no sign of her.

looks like I have to start talking to the kids and wife now!

awwwwww poor kitty ...... if the weathers been bad, it's most likely she's got stuck in someones shed or garage, try knocking round the neighbours, and putting lost posters up in the area asking people to check, also ring round the rspca/cats protection/dog warden etc .... hope she turns up soon

Has she been done, if not is there any chance she has gone away to have some little babies?

Also do you think she has been in a fight, my cat will go and hide if shes been hurt just to get over it, last time she was away 4 days and had clearly been in a fight. She came back then went again until she felt better.

Hope you find her soon. Maybe put notes through doors or on lamposts.

We lost oe of ours for a week but came back. Lost another one who never came back.
Now they are mostly only missing for a day.

It's horrible not knowing where they are whern they are usually close by.
          Good Luck

Fingers crossed she comes back. I'd be distraught if Rosco went missing.

I do hope you find her, I'd be heartbroken to lose one of mine.

My big cat only comes home once a week because the bloke next door keeps feeding him and encouraging him in there. I've asked him not to, but they keep on doing it.
They'd soon stop if I asked them to take over the vet bill. Puss needs a visit as soon as I can get him in long enough to get an appointment, he's just not right at the moment and I need to figure out why.

Kirsty- one of my neighbours used to feed one of our cats ( years ago) but he had kidney failure and had to be on K/d science plan diet and carefully monitored...perhaps you could tell your neighbour a tiny porky-pie???

O Steve, I do hope your friend comes back soon. I agree with the others, in this cold weather she's probably holed up somewhere to keep warm and got locked in so try all the neighbours. Good luck - let us know what's happening wont you.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

I was going to suggest the same, but don't hold your breath, I've tried it with the horses, but people ignored it.

Yeh...what is it with peeps giving horses carrots, apples and bread ( oh ...and polo mints)???
I know they think it's a nice thing to do , but my friend's horse used to get colic very badly with apples and was very often ill..incurring MASSIVE vet fees ( excluded from the insurance of course!)..he actually died of colic this spring...so who knows???

Where my daughter goes horse riding they are given strict instructions that on no account are they to give any food to any of the horses, one little girl decided to go against this and gave one some crisps, not long after the pony died and my daughter was devastated, she overheard a conversation that it was the crisps that did it. ( it wasnt my daughter that gave it to the pony.)
