  • My best friend

I haven't been on the forum for over a week (I think), so got lots of catching up to do when I eventually get back home and back to "normality".

I'm very sad right now. I'm in Bridlington with all my sisters as my mum was really ill. She was 88 on Tuesday 14th October, and sadly she died on Thursday 16th October with all her girls around her. She was my best friend in the whole wide world and I'll miss her dreadfully.

I know that lots of you will sympathise with me, and I thank you in advance for that. For those of you who are religious, or believe in a God, please will you say a little prayer for her? Thank you all xxxxxxx
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

I feel your sadness Maureen, my father was 90 on Monday of this week and there were celebrations at the nursing home where he lives with my mother unfortunately the happiness turned to sadness on Friday when my mother suddenly died aged 88. As a practicing Buddhist I may not share the same God as you but my love and thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time.
