| I think the real issue here is the question of why you're ironing anything at all!?

| I hate ironing clothes. I LOVE pressing quilting fabric. Don't know why. I don't get it either!

| I've spent most of the day ironing. While Steve was away the house got left to go to ruin as I was a complete basket case, now he's home we are getting things sorted before we both go back to work. I must be a bit abnormal cos I quite like ironing, find it relaxing, put a DVD in and away I go...

Quilting fabric is ideas and creativity and making something beautiful and practical out of scraps and waste work - all very positive and calming.

i feel even more at home here knowing im not the only one allergic to ironing, The only thing i iron is my sons school trousers, shirts get hung in bath room steam gets the creases out, not like he appreciates it anyway, my ex partner said to me women can not iron, i was like yessssssssssss thank god he kept the ironing board when i left hahahahaha |

is generally the reason i ever get the iron out
