I think the real issue here is the question of why you're ironing anything at all!?

I hate ironing clothes. I LOVE pressing quilting fabric. Don't know why. I don't get it either!

I've spent most of the day ironing. While Steve was away the house got left to go to ruin as I was a complete basket case, now he's home we are getting things sorted before we both go back to work.
I must be a bit abnormal cos I quite like ironing, find it relaxing, put a DVD in and away I go...

I can rearrange the creases without the aid of an iron!

Simple - ironing clothes is a relentless, never ending task - totally thankless as the rotton horrors go and wear all the clothes and make you do the job again.

Quilting fabric is ideas and creativity and making something beautiful and practical out of scraps and waste work - all very positive and calming.

Piskie sweetheart, it's far too hot to iron now! Throw the t-shirt away & buy one that doesn't need ironing! (That's what I do!)
