    Moving to Bristol

    My OH has got a new job in Bristol, which means we will have to move near there in the summer. We are looking to rent in the area and want a house with garage and decent sized garden.

    Not knowing Bristol or any of the surrounding area, can anyone recommend where to live or not live.

    I am going to have to commute to Cardiff, if I cannot find a job in Bristol or Bath before we move, and would prefer somewhere within an hour, but would go that bit further out for the right house.

    Any suggestions, gladly welcomed.

    I've got a couple of friends there who live in Clifton. It's a really nice area, prices probably a bit higher, but that's where I'd be looking if we were moving there.

      Yeah I love Clifton too, pricey though.

        you could look at chepstow, its half way between cardiff and bristol just across the bridge

          Thank you, Chepstow sounds good. We want somewhere rural, possibly considering Somerset or Gloucestershire if anyone knows places there.
