  • mould is following me about - aaargh

First the loft was damp and everything in there got ruined. Still can't put the extra insulation down as we are still drying it out.

Then the chicken coop went mouldy adn oH is building me a new one (even though it's been preserved and oly had it a year.

NOW the new shed we bought when we moved in (pressure treated to at least 5 years - that's why we bought it as had no time to paint it up)has gone mouldy too. The inside is mouldy with white fluffy stuff, and the outsde is mouldy with black spots appearing everywhere.

Is it the exceptionally wet year we've had?

WHY???? I can so do without this.

The man is coming back to have a look but I am not holding out much hope.

the secret is ventilation .....and warmth, which isn't that great at this time of year, my brick shed has never got damp, cos there is gaps all round where the corrugated roof fits, leave the door open when you can, let some fresh air through it ...... though you can't do much about the outside other than more preservative ..... is it off the ground? ..... damp is crap when you get it
