  • Morrisons flower buckets...

They make great tomato buckets, just drill some holes in the bottom, there seems to be plenty about with all the christmas flowers, at 99p for 8 grab yourself a bargain. Also used by the professionals!!!

They are indeed useful - for tomatoes, spuds, peppers, all sorts really

Yes, I've been using them for some years.

Just be careful how you drill ... they tend to crack if you don't use a countersink type bit.

I usually just heat up a screwdriver and make holes with that ... best to do it outside or the fumes will get you

I've been using them for years too. A real bargain and you're saving them from landfill.

When i was in tesco's yesterday i noticed they had a big flower display with square bucket's about 18 inche's across the top and about 15 across the bottom and 18 inche's deep would be ideal if some went missing....jacob

I just use an old soldering iron, goes through them like butter. I put 4 or 5 holes about 1/2 inch up the sides instead of the bottom, acts like a little moisture trap in the bottom them and cuts down on watering

I asked at my local tesco about the flower buckets, the lad was a bit not all there he said that they dont sell or give them away I might ask at customer services though.
